About Me

I have walked through many of life’s challenges—both personally and alongside others—which has shaped my deep sense of understanding and empathy. My desire is to help you discover what you are searching for and to offer hope along the way. I strive to be a therapist you can feel comfortable talking with as you navigate the challenges life may bring.

I look forward to developing a therapeutic relationship where we can collaboratively set and accomplish your goals. I believe in speaking truth, always tempered with grace and grounded in love, to help empower you toward growth and wellness. My hope is to encourage others to grow into the person they desire to be—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

My Background and Approach

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. As a counselor, I am honored to walk alongside individuals from any faith background—or none at all. As a Christian counselor, I value the opportunity to integrate faith with evidence-based psychological training for clients who desire that approach.

In the therapy room, I primarily use Relational, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused approaches with adult clients. When working with children and teens, I also integrate aspects of play therapy. I am also trained in SYMBIS and enjoy working with couples who are preparing for marriage or seeking to strengthen their relationship.

Clients often describe leaving therapy feeling accomplished and proud of their hard work. Together, we focus on identifying feelings and needs while developing effective tools to manage them, fostering growth and lasting change.

“The task of the therapist is to help the client rediscover their own capacity for growth.”

— Carl Rogers
